Moto / Wise Chameleon

A Hackster.io Alexa and Arduino Smart Home Challenge winner: servo attachments that could turn ordinary objects into voice-controlled devices.

The idea

The prototype used 3D printed attachments connected to a servo so Alexa could control ordinary physical devices: blinds, pet feeders, button pushers, and similar home objects.

It was playful, but it also captured a recurring pattern in my work: use software to reach into a real workflow, then design the interface around the moment where the user actually needs leverage.

Recognition

Amazon's winner announcement lists Wise Chameleon by Koray Kirli and Jeremy Johnson in Boston, describing it as a modular way to turn ordinary objects into smart-home devices.
